Admissions

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Lahore Leads University runs several scholarship schemes, and students at Shadman Campus are eligible for them. If cost is the reason you are hesitating, read this page before deciding.

Merit scholarships

Awards are made on academic performance. Students placing in the top band of their first semester receive a substantial tuition waiver, and position holders from recognised boards receive awards on admission. Students entering with strong A-Level results are also eligible for a waiver.

Need-based assistance

Assessed case by case, taking account of family income, the number of dependants, housing and other commitments. Applying costs nothing and does not affect your admission decision.

Other schemes

  • Concessions for siblings studying at the university at the same time
  • Support for dependants of the Shohda-e-Pakistan
  • Regional schemes for students domiciled in Gilgit-Baltistan and the erstwhile tribal areas
  • Awards under the university’s agreement with the Punjab Police for children of serving and retired personnel
  • Alumni concessions for returning graduates and their families

How to apply for support

Mention it when you apply, or raise it with the admissions officer who contacts you. Some schemes cannot be combined with each other, so it is worth asking which one leaves you better off.

Scholarship terms are set by the university and can change between intakes. Confirm current terms with the admissions office before relying on them.
